Yes, We Accept Insurance. If the client has a long-term care insurance policy, Passion will work with the client and the insurance company to file claims for reimbursement for all or a portion of the costs of care.
Yes, the State of Vermont currently oversees the license of private duty or in-home care agencies. We also have business licenses issued in Vermont and New Hampshire.
Passion for Home Care obtains background checks from the Vermont Crime Information Center (VCIC) which is administered by the Department of Public safety. The VCIC maintains criminal history records, sex offender records, child abuse/neglect records, as well as additional disqualification or licensure records. Established on July 1, 1970, the Vermont Crime Information Center is the State’s repository for a number of criminal record information systems.
In Vermont, Certified Nurse Aides are referred to as Licensed Nursing Assistants or LNAs. The credentialing and licensing of LNAs are the responsibility of the Vermont Board of Nursing. In order to become licensed to work in Vermont as nursing assistants, candidates must meet examination and training requirements and maintain acceptable professional and legal backgrounds.
For applicants with caregiving experience in other states, we utilize a third-party employment screening company that provides background checks for organizations across the country.

Passion for Home Care rates typically ranges from $35–80 per hour depending on the intensity of care needed (RN, LPN, LNA, or RA). We have a 4 hour minimum per shift.
